When selecting our acetate, we focus on depth of colour, structural stability, and long-term durability. The material carries a natural weight and flexibility that allows the frame to sit comfortably on the face, while maintaining its shape through daily wear.

Crafted by Experience

Unlike standard injection-moulded plastics. Acetate is cut from layered sheets, then shaped, polished, and refined by hand. The colour runs all the way through the material, creating a finish with real depth and consistency.

The result is a frame that feels considered from the moment you put it on, and continues to feel that way over time.

Optical-Grade Lenses

At VANDA, we use CR-39 lenses, selected for their ability to deliver clear, low-distortion vision in everyday conditions. Compared to lower-grade alternatives, they reduce visual strain and provide a more natural view of the world around you.

Each lens is finished with an anti-reflective coating on the inside to minimise glare from behind, along with a scratch-resistant outer layer to maintain clarity over time.

AS/NZS 1067.1 Standards

VANDA lenses meet Australian and New Zealand standards (AS/NZS 1067.1) and European standards (EN ISO 12312-1:2022), with UV400 protection built in.

Our category 3 lenses provide high protection against sun glare and suitable for everyday use, including driving.
